Memories

I have been working on my memoirs and checking out old pictures. I have found some great ones of me as a young boy at Seabeck Camp in Washington.

The one on the right is my brother Robbins and I.

I also went up to Seattle Washington recently to visit the house we had built in 1919 and lived in until we headed to Switzerland in 1923. On the right is the house now and in the middle is the view from upstairs. The bottom picture shows my whole family on the boat heading to Switzerland.

My Cruise

I set sail on October 1st from San Diego on the Westendam Holland American Line. I was accompanied by Eloise and Barbara. A highlight was going through the Panama Canal after stopping three times in Mexico, Guatemala, and Coasta Rica. After a stop in Columbia we docked in a Port in Florida. I then visited Bonnie and Don, played golf one day, and then went to see Robbie and Secila in Winterhaven. There I again played golf with them. Then finally the twenty-third I few back to Boise. It is nice to be home but I already miss the sun.

Preparing to Hit the High Seas

Today I will start packing. In a few days I will be flying to California to take a cruise ship from San Diego to Panama and Florida. I am excited that Eloise Meador and Barbara Callard will be accompanying me on this voyage.
